  We Believe -  

 

1. We believe in one true and living Triune God. Comprised of - The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit - Equal in attributes but executing distinct but harmonious offices. John 1:1, 10:30; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 John 5:7 

 

2. The Divinity of Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Divine Son of God, was with The Father and The Holy Spirit at the time of Creation, left the Courts of Heaven and came to earth, took upon Himself the form of Humanity ( except sinless) was born of the Virgin Mary, manifested His power, was crucified, arose from the dead the third day and ascended into Heaven. Isaiah 9:6; John 1:14; Luke 1:26-28; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:9-12; Mark 15:22-4 

 

3. The Bible is the Word of God: We believe that the whole Bible which is comprised of the Old and New Testaments was given by the inspiration of God and is the able rule of life for faith and practice. II Peter 1:19 - 21; 11 Timothy 3:14 - 17 

 

4. Man is Created by God: We believe that God created man good, gave him a Just Law by which to be governed, with penalties of punishment for disobedience. God gave him power of free moral agency to choose the right and reject the wrong, but our first parents heeded the voice of Satan. God gave to them the Hope of Salvation through a coming Christ. Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:7; Geneis 3:15; Genesis 2:16-27; Romans 5:18; Romans 11:11-35 

 

5. Redemption Through Jesus Christ's Shed Blood: We believe that Jesus Christ by His Birth, Death and Resurrection and Ascension, paid the price for the Redemption of "Whosoever" takes Him as their Personal Saviour, thereby giving them an inheritance to share in His power. John 3:16-19; Hebrews 1:4; Hebrews 9:12; 1 Timothy 1:14,15; Galatians 3:13, Galatians 4:4,5; Ephesians 2:4-10; Revelation 3:20,21 

 

6. Water Baptism: We believe that Water Baptism by immersion of the believer after their Confession of Faith, Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, in the name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, in Jesus's Name. Thereby receiving a new nature, by sharing in the Death and Resurrection of Christ and becoming part of His Body. Matthew 3:14-16; Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:1-13; Acts 8:36-39, 18:8, 16:14 

 

7. Body of Christ: We believe that the invisible or Spiritual Church is comprised of the Redeemed in the Aggregate and is the Family of God. We believe it is comprised of all Born Again Believers. Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:47; Ephesians 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23 

 

8. Body of Believers: We believe that the visible Church of Christ is a Congregation of faithful men and women, having obtained fellowship with the Lord and with each other, agreeing to keep up a good discipline and doctrine according to the Gospel. Matt. 16:18; Acts 16:5, 20:28 

 

9. Women in the Ministry: We believe that the opportunity to serve Christ as Ministers is open to both men and women on an equal basis after having fulfilled the qualifications required. Joel 2:28 -29; Acts 2:17 - 18; Galatians 3:28 

 

10. Immortality of the Spirit/Soul: We believe that the Spirit/Soul is endless, hence does not die with the body but immediately after death, enters into a conscious state of happiness or misery, according to the Spiritual Condition at Death. Matthew 10:28; Luke 12:20, 16:19-25; 23:39-43; Philippians 1:20-23; II Corinthians 12:1-4; Revelation 6:9 

 

11. Rapture of the Church: We believe in the rapture of the saved, to join those who have died in the Lord, to be with the Lord. John 14:3; I Thessalonians 4:13-18 

 

12. Return of Jesus with the Saved: We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ with the saved, to reign on the earth for 1,000 years. Isaiah 9:7; Acts 1:10,11; Revelation 20: I - 6 

 

13. Baptism in the Holy Spirit & Speaking in Tongues: We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a separate experience from salvation. It is the power that carries the believer on, in the Christian walk. The Holy Spirit comes upon each in the same manner as He came upon the 120 Jews and Gentiles in Apostolic days. Matthew 3:11; John 14:16,17; Acts 1:4-8, 2:4, 8:17, 10:44-46, 19:6  

 

14. Atonement/Healing: We believe that the Atonement provides deliverance from sickness and is the privilege of all believers. Exodus15:26; Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17; Acts 4:29,30 

 

15. The Lords’s Day: We believe that Sunday, the Lord’s Day is the day for Christians to keep Holy. We believe that the Sabbath, Saturday, is not binding on the Christian. John 20:1,19; I Corinthians 16:2; Revelation 1:10  

 

16. Tithing: We believe that the work of the Lord is to be supported by the Tithes and Offerings brought into the Church. Genesis 14:17-24; Leviticus 27:30; Malachi 3:8-11; Matthew 23:23; I Corinthians 16:2
